Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within AWS and On-premises environments
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud-native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments (Bicep/ARM)
• Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions
• Database Management (MSSQL/Cosmos DB)
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure for On-premises, Cloud, and Hybrid and providing technical support
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Ensuring appropriate disaster recovery protocols are in place
• Create technical specifications and documentation
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
• Provide status updates

Requirements

• Degree in a Quantitative discipline such as IT or Computer Science
• 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role in DevOps / Support / Platform Engineering
• Thorough knowledge of Cloud – AWS would be mandatory
• Competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SES
• Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and firewalls
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash/ PowerShell)
• Proficiency with Docker, Docker-Compose and Kubernetes
• Experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting IIS and NGINX (Nginx ingress)
• Excellent understanding of Node, Java, Python and .Net
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
